"Alright Hiccup, are you ready for this?" asked Jack.
"Toothless and I are going to be chased by a Viking ghost who's bent on killing me for my inheritance, into your foil-proof trap. Oh yeah, we're ready," replied Hiccup, glancing down at the black mass known as Toothless.
"Reah, ready," replied the black dog.
"Alright, the trigger is ready," said Merida, coming out from behind some boxes.
"And I'm all set over here!" yelled Rapunzel, dashing over to her friends from the other side of the room.
"OK, let's go over the plan again. Hiccup and Toothless will direct the Viking Ghost into the room. I'll be ready with the rope and pulley to pull you two out of his way. He'll go slipping on this grease to the boxes. The boxes will fall over and the one with the marbles will take him to the net, where Rapunzel and Merida will be ready to hoist him up," said Jack.
"Yeah, as high as a Christmas goose," chuckled Hiccup.
"Reah, rummy," Toothless lick his lips.
"OK you two, go find that ghost, and let him chase you into here. We'll be waiting," remarked Jack, as he and the girls rushed off to their positions.
"If we live long enough to make it here," moaned Hiccup. "Well, Toothless, let's go." The two walked out of the room, searching, albeit unwilling, for a murderous ghost.

For a while, their footsteps and heartbeats were the only noises they heard as they searched the castle. Before long, they heard a growling. "Toothless, please tell me that's, like, your stomach," whimpered Hiccup.
"Noh-uh," replied Toothless. The two slowly turned around, and found themselves staring into the eyes of the Viking Ghost.
He lifted his ax and yelled, "The treasure is mine!" Hiccup and Toothless screamed, and began running as fast as they could, leading the Viking Ghost on a merry little chase before finally reaching the room where Jack and the girls were waiting.
"Jack, like, help!" yelled Hiccup.
"Relp!" echoed Toothless.
They entered the room, slipping as they grabbed for the rope. They swung out of the way of the ghost, who wasn't as lucky. He slipped and slid across the floor, through the boxes, and into the net, when the girls hoisted him high, trapping. The four teens cheered.
"Alright, we caught him!" cheered Merida.
"Nice trap, Jack," said Rapunzel, giving him a little peck on the cheek.
"What's going on here? Goodness gracious, what in the world is that?" shouted an elderly man, as he walked into the room, followed by two police officers.
"The end of the mystery, Mr. Gobber. Would you like to unmask the ghost who's been trying to scare you out of your home, and Hiccup out of his inheritance?" asked Jack.
"Most certainly," replied Mr. Gobber. He strode over and pulled off the mask. "Why, if it isn't Alvin Terrebone, he's been trying to buy this place for years! Figured he'd try to scare me and the kid off so that he could come in and get it for next to nothing!"
"He would have also been able to search for the treasure and claim it for his own," Merida pointed out.
"And I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling kids and that stupid dog!" shouted Alvin, as the officers dragged him away.
"Rog, rere?" Toothless looked around. The teens chuckled.
"You've got yourself some good friends there, Hiccup," Mr. Gobber slapped him on the back.
"Yeah, they're like, the best," grinned Hiccup.
"Well then, shall we go get that treasure?" asked Mr. Gobber, as he wobbled up the stairs.
"I've figured out where it is," began Merida.
"Good, so have I," replied Mr. Gobber.
The teens and Toothless glanced at each other before following him up the stairs and through the castle. He stopped in front of the large tapestry and pulled it aside to reveal a door.
"Uh, that's not where the treasure is," stated Merida.
"I didn't know that was there!" exclaimed Hiccup.
As he opened the door and ushered them in, Mr. Gobber chuckled, "No one, except for me, and most probably your uncle, Hiccup, knew this was here. I found it years ago when I was cleaning this hall. I wanted to lift the tapestry so as not to get it wet when I noticed the outline. I came back later that night when all my chores were done and explored it. Well, a few years ago, I found the treasure and hid it in here, so that no one, especially that treacherous Alvin, could take it away from the rightful heir. And here it is, Hiccup, your inheritance."
"Like, wow!"
"Amazing!"
"Roh boy!"
"Spectacular!"
"Whoa, that's a lot of dragons."
Mr. Gobber chuckled, "Yes Jack, a lot of dragons. The Haddock family is known for its dragon collection. It was rumored that one ancestor of the Haddock family slew dragons, but I think the real story is that he became friends with them, making other families, like the Terrebones, jealous. And, which is one reason why they collected dragon items, partly to remember the pact that young Haddock made years ago."
"Well, thank you Mr. Gobber, for keeping it safe for so long. If you don't mind, I'd like to keep the majority of it here and come back every now and then to take some," said Hiccup.
"No problem with me, it's yours, you can do whatever you'd like with it. Besides, I wouldn't mind having you kids come back here to visit," grinned Mr. Gobber.
"You can count on it, Mr. Gobber," winked Jack.
"I definitely wouldn't mind coming back," said Merida.
"Neither would I," remarked Rapunzel.
"Re too!" barked Toothless.
"Then I guess it's settled, Mr. Gobber, we'll be back when I need to get some money," grinned Hiccup.
"Alrighty then, sounds good to me," chuckled Mr. Gobber.
Reah, Toothy-loothy less!" howled Toothless, before jumping into Hiccup's arms and licking his face, making everyone laugh.
Can you guess which series this is based on? ;P This idea has been running around in my head for a little while, but once I saw [link] and [link], I was like, "Time to do this!" Well, hope you enjoy!! :D

Hah, hah, this was awesome! Everyone fit the roles of the Mystery Gang and that one bit where Toothless does his own version of Scooby-Dooby-Doo, is priceless!!!
